However, unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could be stuck on things like power cords or socks, and may have issues traversing transitions across surfaces like from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot suggests cleaning up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or clutter it might come across. Also, keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's external dustbin. Then it continues cleaning from where it began. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for about an hour and a half continuous use, and takes around three hours to fully recharge.

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot and comes with all the latest features. It is self-charging and self-navigating, but the most important feature is its auto-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba I7+ is able to better map rooms with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot through the app or via voice.
The i7+ is quicker and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin, which removes a major source of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and to move around the room and vacuum an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After connecting we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world filled with vacuums that are cordless and are like minivans and buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like an automobile. It is powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, but it is also compact enough to fit on a bookcase or coffee table.
